Homemade Tomato Ketchup Recipe

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine the chopped tomatoes, dates, and dried tomatoes.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it cook for about 15-20 minutes until the tomatoes are soft and the flavors meld together.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  5. If desired, strain the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to achieve a smoother consistency.
  6. Allow the homemade ketchup to cool completely before transferring it to a jar or

    container for storage.

  7. Store the homemade ketchup in the refrigerator, and it should keep for approximately 1-2 weeks.

Please note that without additional ingredients like vinegar or spices, the resulting ketchup may have a milder flavor compared to traditional store-bought ketchup. Feel free to adjust the recipe according to your taste preferences by adding spices, vinegar, sweeteners, or other seasonings as desired.
